What does FAMILY mean to you?

What does the word ‘family’ mean?

FAMILY – it means FATHER MOTHER I LOVE YOU!

It can mean the LOVE that you have for each member of your family.

Family: I believe a family is about unconditional love and commitment for each other, and that family members feel belonged and loved. There will be ups and downs, happy times and sad times; however there will always be time to bridge the misunderstandings and work through issues. A family can support each other, and forgive each other for the mistakes and misunderstandings … those are the bonds that bind families together.

No matter how far away you are in the world, your family will be the centre of your everything. The values your learned from your family, the memories that you shared together, the conversations that you had, the food that you shared together – these are the things that will forever be a part of you.

In the midst of everyday distractions, remember your family, and when time permits, give your family members who are far away a call. Feel the closeness of your family, and feel their love and their support. Even if they are far away, know that you will always be in their thoughts, and vice versa.
