Learn about shapes through FUN!
Creating connections with your children is about shared experiences, and the easiest way is to connect through everyday interactions.
In this activity, we learn about shapes – squares. You can create a square for colouring in, or draw a square shape (free hand). This is also a task where your school aged child/children learn to develop their hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills.
For this instance, using the example above, how many squares are there? And write the answer below in the comment section.
As per the audio, I have also created a fun worksheet for your child. Here your child will learn about the number 8, how to spell ‘eigh’t, how to spell ‘square’ and how to draw a square through a dot-to-dot drawing.
