A POEM ABOUT DAD

I LOVE my Dad he is first rate
even though on Saturday he sleeps in late
He took me to school to fly my kite
Shes a beauty I had to hold on tight
Dad held me so I didn't fly away
The wind was blowing a gale that day
He does little things without saying a thing
Thats why I think my Dad's a KING!

I love my Dad because he comes to my netball games, he has the best cuddly head and he rubs my tummy when it hurts. He also makes me laugh with his awful Elvis jokes. I wish he didn't have to go to work.

My Dad's an architect so I thought I would make him a city out of cardboard and string. It's called Dad's Delightful Oasis City. I'm going to stick it on top of a box with his present in it for Father's Day and then give him a big head cuddle.
