Let’s talk about the HEART shape and the colour red
Since we are talking about filling your child’s love cup with LOVE and fun, I thought it would be great to have some fun with a heart-shape.
- Cut out the heart shape (cookie cutter or scissors on paper) and get your child to flip or turn them into different positions and observe the different angles of the heart.
- Trace the different positions of the heart
- Learn the colour red.
Note: If you can draw the heart shape yourself, please do so. Hold your child’s hand and guide him or her on how to draw the shape. Refer to this article – I am still a believer in hand writing. I shared with you the reasons behind why holding hands with your child helps in creating connections with them.
You primary aim is to make this exercise / activity an opportunity to connect and have fun with your child. Through the fun and connections, your child will indirectly learn.
