To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the creation of Roald Dhl’s timeless children’s character The B.F.G. (The Big Friendly Giant) the full-length, fully animated feature film version of The B.F.G. is being brought to DVD.
The B.F.G. is a tale for all ages about a little girl called Sophie and a Big Friendly Giant who set out to rid the world of the gruesome 'bone crunching' giants that eat little children for breakfast. This beautifully animated film will captivate any adult or child who has ever been touched by the magical stories of Roald Dahl. When Little Sophie is taken from her orphanage bed one night, it's just the beginning of a thrilling adventure with THE BIG FRIENDLY GIANT! As they catch dreams together in the Dream Country and blow them into children's bedroom, trouble appears in the shape of the Bloodbottler and Fleshlumpeater – big, bad giants who like to gobble children for breakfast. It's is up to Sophie and THE BFG to persuade the Queen of England to help them stop the giants and thwart their fiendish plans.
