Siput (pictured above) – is a malay (Malaysian) term for one kind of clam. As a family, we used to dig for siput along the Penang beaches. After that, we would stir fry the siput with dark soy sauce with a pinch of salt and sugar.
This picture was taken during my recent trip back to Penang. Unfortunately, siput is very hard to buy nowadays. While I was digging for siput, it brought back many fond memories of my childhood.
So how can we create something fun for the kids based on the picture above?
